Spring has arrived and we have some important registration and pre-season information
Div 1 and U16 Pre-season
the club has arranged for some Sunday pre-season training over the coming weeks.
Because some Div1 players were invited to attend the Premier pre-season, we are going to be inviting players from U16 grade who wish to train and be available for Div1 to please attend the Div1 sessions.
Attn to all our new Year 9 players who are moving from Year 7/8 – the U16 pre-season is going to include all our new year 9 Players as well as players who are going to continue with U16 grade

ANZ Cricket Grants
ANZ is giving away $50,000.00 worth of $80.00 grants towards cricket fees. Please make use of the this opportunity – you must apply for the grant and then you will receive a voucher by email which you then use during the online registration registration. Registration with PlayHQ
New Zealand Cricket has introduced a new registration system called PlayHQ, please register as early as you can to help with our administration as junior cricket starts back the week after school holidays. All the information is on the link below
Robine Rijke and Daan Vierling are coming out to NZ
Dutch international player Robine Rijke and her partner Daan Vierling are making their way out to NZ and Robine will be join the club to play Premier Women’s Cricket and as an ECB Level 1 coach will coaching our junior and youth girls.
Robine writes
“We are coming from Holland where we both captain our first men’s and women’s sides of our club Quick Haag. Robine also plays for the Dutch Women’s XI.
We are very keen to come and play for both clubs, but also coach some of the youth teams.
We can’t wait to meet everyone and are looking forward to a great season in your beautiful country!!”
We need some help finding them a place to stay for the first 2 – 3 weeks until they settle in and find a flat, then some help with some other part time work. (if anyone can help please contact Shane Young on 021 771 392 or speak to a committee member)
