NWWC Blazers vs Sydenham
Our captain Kat won the toss and elected to bowl first, thankfully we were playing in the morning as it was already in the high 20’s by 9am. A decision was made by both teams to reduce the game to a 20 over match as we needed to be off the pitch by 1 to make way for the Prems T20 final.
We managed to restrict Sydenham to 59 runs with great fielding by all players, Livvy making 2 great catches and bowling by Paige 2-9, Meg 1-7 and Scarlett 1-8. Dakota top scored for Sydenham with 15.
We then went into bat and managed to get the runs in the 13th over. Meg and Ava opened the batting putting on 38 runs for the first wicket and then Meg and Scarlett saw us home. Meg top scoring with 35 runs.
