Lancaster Park won the toss & elected to bat. Tight bowling resulted in two wickets falling at 23 runs in the 8th over. Two players were caught off the bowling of Olivia Paul (catchers Millie Camm-Rule & Lola Holbrough). However a 57 run partnership followed between Zoe Pullar and Katie, which Katie continued good form with Sian Goodall until Katie was caught in the 25th over by Eloise Borcoski off the bowling of Hannah Foster with the score at 105. Their innings finished at 118/5 in the 30 overs.
Olivia Paul and Edie Maslin opened the Scorchers innings with a great 68 run partnership, ending when Liv was stumped off the bowling of Hannah. Edie lead the chase in a good partnership with Kelly Hodder, reaching the target in 15.3 overs. 123/1
