This week the team were at Barrington and after winning the toss we sent OBC into bat. Even with the rain threatening and spectators feeling the cold, summer cricket at it’s best, OBC posted 124 runs in their 30 overs. Top scores by Chloe Graham with 21 and Heidi Clouston with 19. The wickets were evenly spread across the team with 6 of our bowlers picking up a wicket each.
We unfortunately lost a wicket in the first over but then thanks to some great batting by Scarlett and Molly we made our runs in the 20th over. Molly scoring a fantastic 56 off 60 balls and Scarlett getting her 50 off 56 balls. Lilah Cowan picking up the sole wicket for OBC. A big thanks once again to our Div 2 girls stepping up Michaela and Hayley.
