Well the weather managed to hold out and we got our full game in against St Albans/Lancaster Park. NWWC won the toss and elected to field first and we started off well having them at 122/5 but with some great batting by Lily 49 off 55 balls and Edie 54 off 40 balls they reached a total of 209.
Olivia was very economical with her bowling and took 2 wickets a catch and assisted with a run out. Wickets also going to Denita, Riya, Paige and Lucy.
We unfortunately didn’t really get going with the bat. Haley was our top run scorer on 21 off 24 balls and St Albans/Lancaster Park had us all out for 98. Although there were a couple of great boundaries by Molly and Kelly with Lucy and Paige also getting a boundary each.
