For many of our Div 4 Flames players today was only their third game of cricket ever, and they should all be extremely proud of the improvement they have been showing each week. We had a great batting innings with 88 runs for only 4 wickets. The girls did a wonderful job running between the wickets and supporting each other from the sideline. We managed to get 12 wickets when bowling, and it looked like we might have been heading towards our first victory. Unfortunately, we were narrowly beaten at the end due to an outstanding innings from one of the opposition (31 off 14 balls!) Congratulations to all for a great game – you were clearly having a lot of fun!
