Congratulations to Mikayla Nortman on achieving her milestone of 50 caps for the Premier Women’s team, which was presented by Maggie Martin on the 18th of October 2025 before the match against OBC at Burnside Oval.
Mikayla’s started at NWWC while at High School and played in our first ever sides as North West when the club has two U19 sides.
As a hard hitting batter and medium pace bowler Mikayla was an award winner in the 2021-22 season for the Premier Team. The North Canterbury athlete also involved in age group sides in Football and Futsal.
We are thrilled that Mikayla was able to maintain her cricket and training while studying for her double major at the University of Canterbury.
