Registrations on PlayHQ are now open! There will be specific links to register depending if you are a junior (CJCA – School Year 5-8) or Year 9 youth and senior women which is administered by Christchurch Metro Cricket. If you do not have a PlayHQ account login you will need to create one.
There is a 15% discount for family members, if you have siblings playing for Burnside and North West Women, or are split between the age groups contact us to calculate the discount
PlayHQ is a pre-pay system and we know that it may be difficult to manage for some family so please contact Vanessa Robertson if you want to arrange a payment plan or discuss any options and she can provide you with a voucher to use at the time of registration. treasurer@burnsidecricket.org.nz
Junior Girls Cricket Options
Depending on the age and stage we have a plenty of options to get involved in cricket.
Friday Night Smash Play and Kiwi Cricket – School Years 1-4
This is a boy and girls junior cricket program at Burnside Park on a Friday Night from 6pm to 7pm. It’s a fun with skills sessions during weeks in Terms 4 and in Term 1, so the whole summer. Girls Smash – Burnside Hub 2025 Term 4
Girls Smash is coming to Burnside Park! Canterbury Community Cricket will be running Girls Smash in Term 4, on Mondays from 4pm – 5pm, first week is 10th of November
Girls Smash is a modified playing opportunity for girls in years 3-6 with an emphasis on having fun with friends. Girls play in teams of 6 with an equal opportunity to bat, bowl and field. All equipment is provided and no prior cricket experience is needed. Subs are $30 and include a pink t-shirt

Saturday Morning CJCA Junior Cricket
Saturday morning junior cricket moves from softball cricket to hardball cricket with three grades catered for as girls only cricket. Girls can still play mixed cricket up to Year 8 if they choose to. The CJCA Grades are Mini Mag Div 5, Div 4 and Div 3 cricket which caters for girls school year 4 – 8. CJCA are running a hardship fund for the 2025-26 season with a 50% subsidy up to a maximum of $80.00 subscriptions, and up to 50% of Girls Pre-Season and Festivals. https://www.cjca.org.nz/cjca-relaunches-hardship-fund-for-2025-26/

Youth, Senior and Social Cricket
Subscriptions for 2025/26 are $195.00 for Youth / Secondary School Students in October, $225.00 for University Students and U21 Players, and $285.00 for Senior Players.
The Social 8s will be paying a teams subscription so please contact Cat, Maria or Liz for voucher code
If you are playing a part season – please contact the club for a reduced rate – similar if you are moving away or to Christchurch for University for part of the summer we are used to this a University Club
